How does Smart Marketing work?

The Ikon GPS system reports the vehicle mileage. Based on mileage triggers we decide with you, we send the customer a personalized text message with your dealership's logo and name, telling them their vehicle is ready for service. They can either click to schedule directly via your online scheduling system, or call our inbound BDC to make an appointment with a live operator, ensuring accessibility to all people.

How do I know which appointments Ikon has scheduled?

Ikon will send you a list of customer appointments scheduled via our BDC in your scheduling system, as well as a full list of customers who have clicked the scheduling link in our text messages. This allows you to confirm the appointment has been scheduled or to reach out to the customer to complete scheduling, capturing every service opportunity you can for your dealership and preventing defection.

How does Ikon protect customer privacy?

Customers must opt-in to the Smart Marketing program at the time of vehicle purchase. Ikon will not provide Smart Marketing data for customers who have not signed the standard consent. Ikon never provides consumer vehicle location data to dealers without a valid legal basis to do so.
